FIRE BEHAVIOR WORKSHOP

National Interagency Fire Behavior Workshop
March 01 - 05, 1999
Phoenix, Arizona
MAP & DIRECTIONS

What does fire behavior mean to you? What do you know about fire behavior? What's fire behavior got to do with safety on and management of a wildfire? Or prescribed fire?

This 5-day workshop in Phoenix is designed for anyone who deals with fire behavior -- not just FBAs, but anyone who deals with fire behavior. This is an opportunity for firefighters and fire managers to get together and share information and experiences and fire behavior knowledge and skill related to prescribed fire and wildland fire.

Whether you are a member of an incident management team or a fire weather meteorologist or a fire manager or a fire researcher or just an interested member of the wildland fire community, this conference is for you. Part of the purpose of this conference is to generate feedback for national fire behavior steering committees and fire behavior researchers, so we want your input and participation.
